河童（カッパ）は、水辺に棲むという人間に似た架空の生物です。
全身緑色で、頭のお皿の水が乾かないように生きています。

日本では伝説上の生き物も、身近な水環境を守るシンボルにもなっています。

Kappa

The Kappa is an imaginary, trickster-type water sprite said to inhabit rivers, ponds, etc. Its body is green, and on its head is a kind of saucer-like depression that it must keep moist to survive. In Japan, even legendary creatures function as symbols for the need to protect watery environments.
